May I ask, is there anyway I could incorporate a zipper as the front closure and somehow keep the sturdiness a double busk provides?

I don't know. I've been thinking about this for a couple days, and I can't think of an easy way. It might be possible to back one half of the zipper with a wide bone, but that might make it more difficult to zip the front without breaking the zipper. There's no way to know without trying, so if you're determined I would make a single-layer, mock-up style corset, put a backing bone on one half of the zipper, and try it out. Take it on and off lots and lots of times, and wear it for a few hours.

Thanks! :aww:
I've been making progress, and sales have picked up again a tiny bit. If everything goes as I expect it to for the rest of this month I'll be able to order the ribbon. :D Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I'm glad to hear that! I've also read your interview in the blackandwhite e-zine. It was very interesting. It is an honour to have you as my couturier ;)

This is absolutely gorgeous!
I love the colors you've chosen and the craftsmanship is impeccable. The simplistic design paired with this rich plum color gives it a very regal feel while still maintaining the a look that any woman could sport. Fantastic work!

How long have you been making corsets? This looks utterly flawless.
