~20 hours of work

No prints. I had a very difficult time getting it to scan this well, and I debated not posting it at all because of the quality. Each panel required 4 scans, and you can see a ghosting on the edges of the paper because it couldn't lay flat.

This piece was inspired a couple months back, when I was at Half Moon Bay watching the moon over the ocean on a very cold fall night. I've been turning it over and over in my head, and this is what I finally came up with.

I am absolutely ecstatic with how the original turned out. I wish all of you could see it. This digital image really doesn't do it justice.

A spectacular job on the water and the moon. You've done well with the quality of light that can be communicated in greyscale. Very dramatic.

Thanks! I've periodically considered doing another moon/ocean piece on its own, but still haven't gotten around to it. The more time has passed, the more I love that half and don't care so much about the other.
