Starting Long-Term Antibiotics This morning at 6:30 am, I took my first dose of antibiotics. It will be the first of three today. If all goes well, I will continue to take them on a schedule overseen by my doctor for the next six months. I will be taking monthly blood tests to ensure that the antibiotics themselves don't result in complications.
